Economy Class
- Pacific Premium Economy is a class apart, with mood lighting, choice of food and beverages, and in-seat options similar to the Business Premier cabin. In some aircraft, the seats are wider, and in others, the pitch is greater. The Pacific Premium Cabin has extra services similar to the Business Class such as priority check-in and baggage handling. You are also allowed a larger baggage allowance. Premium Economy Spaceseat is only available on the 777-300ER aircraft currently. The seats are configured to allow for both privacy and companionship. The two seats in the middle are excellent for travelling with a partner or friend: the seats angle towards each other and allow for the use of the armrests to make one table for shared dining. The four seats on either side are made for solo travellers, angled away from each other. The build of the seats creates greater comfort for all as the hard shell around the seat cocoons you and the seats slide forward and angle up within it.
Business Class
- In the Business Premier Class of Air New Zealand, each passenger has access to an aisle with the innovative layout of the aircraft. The leather seats are 22” wide and come with the interesting addition of an ottoman that does double duty as a footrest and a visitor’s seat. The traveller’s seat stretches out into a lie-flat bed, and the passenger is provided with a pillow, duvet, and sheet. Travelers will enjoy having their own large tray table, multiple storage bins, a cocktail tray, and a bottle holder, making dining easy and comfortable, while also guaranteeing no more spills and hand-knocks with the passenger next to you. USBs and iPods can be charged at the seat with in-seat power. Three reading lights and audio video on demand (AVOD) on a 10.4” screen create a great entertainment hub, giving you plenty options on how you want to while away the flying time. This attention to detail creates the perfect environment for the passenger, making for a very enjoyable journey in comfort.
In-Flights
- The personal 8.4” (larger in some aircraft) screens with audio video on demand (AVOD), in-seat power, and headrests specially designed for holding pillows in place, let passengers be comfortable and entertained while flying.
