This Luxurious Canadian castle of Rockies has been welcoming guests for over 125 years, and some of them decided to stay forever.

This might be something relating to the famous movie ”The Corpse bride”, but the legend has a story of a bride who, on the way to get married, caught her gown on fire on a staircase filled with candles and fell to her death, breaking her neck.

If this situation couldn’t get any worse, guests now find her spirit dancing in the hallway with her gown lit up, or as some say, she sits by the staircase crying her sorrow out. Maybe the sadness never really went away with the life?

With its breathtaking mountain scenery and natural hot springs, this castle has more horrifying stories you would be interested in witnessing!

And all of this comes down to making the Fairmont Banff Springs one of the most haunted hotels.

Care to drop a visit and hear her vows, maybe?

The flowers with thorns don’t stand back in being admirable; just like that, the Queen Anne Hotel is haunted but in a praiseworthy way.

Being one of the haunted hotels that don’t give you eerie experiences, it was once an exclusive boarding school for girls.

Miss Mary Lake, the headmistress of the school, is alleged to have had an affair with James “Slippery Jim” Fair, the senator who built the beautiful Victorian mansion.

Mary Lake denied the rumours, but the denial didn’t do her much good.

The affair was exposed in a local newspaper article titled “Cupid and Mr Fair,” and the rumours continued to spread until Mary’s death.

As the ghost of the kind-hearted headmistress, Miss Mary Lake decided to stay. She takes care of travellers by helping them with their blankets at night and unpacking their suitcases.

All in the way of doing good deeds and talk about a 5-star service!

If you do visit and see your bags unpacked for you, say hi to Mary.
